Given the additional amount paid with lower status tiers and increased membership cost, I’d venture to say that for USA residents the Citi Exec MC might well save some dollars for some - no new member fees, lower renewal for some. (I can’t cimment on using miles.)
Don't foget that it comes with Pre√/Global Entry and family member access when they're flying on their own.
