They have (had?) a system that would send out a notification to premium class customers when an aircraft swap occurred and the new plane wasn’t yet configured with PC. Also came with a $25 “we are sorry” voucher. It seems they are less sorry now when they scramble people's seating assignments.
Interesting - I was kicked out late last summer as was given no warning and was booted to the back. I eventually wound up back in premium but if I wasn't a compulsive app-checker I would have never known.
