This is a good opportunity for Alaska to invest in a system that will let passengers know when equipment changes happen, when class changes occur, and give them options when such things happen.
They have (had?) a system that would send out a notification to premium class customers when an aircraft swap occurred and the new plane wasn’t yet configured with PC. Also came with a $25 “we are sorry” voucher. It seems they are less sorry now when they scramble people's seating assignments.
