Food has always been a weak point. Looks like you are getting the same menu I get on my med-haul flights. Their overnight service menu this time was a "ham and cheese" sandwich - which turned out to be a BLT, and a side of rice pudding.
What is your take on the new Amex Lounge at T2? I just was there last week for the first time since the renovation, since I had enough time to kill between flights. I miss the Platinum Card cubbies. I did not get a chance to explore besides the restaurant. Is there any comfortable, quiet area to relax there anymore?
That rice pudding is gross.
As for the AX lounge, it is pretty quiet at 6am, but by 9, very crowded. I was eating my breakfast (pre-shower) when a group of 5 twenty-something
fresas sat at the table next to me, cackling away. I went downstairs and had coffee at a bar high top afterward. There was a line to enter when I left to go to the AM lounge.
