How did you book? I have seen that once or twice when booking on the website, but not lately. A new card would trigger the (please proceed to counter) part, although you can still proceed to the aisle and the gate can verify the card.
I have a similar issue minus the aisle access not showing. However in my case, I have both a new license and card. My confirmation online says to go to the car area reserved (SUV reservation) and the app says go to the counter. I plan to bypass the counter (unless it's completely empty) because I know the booth/gate can verify any new profile changes.
