Remember back when Premium rolled out on the 737s and some had it while others didn't? It was a year plus of day of departure downgrades (and then sometimes re-upgrades) and overall uncertainty. Is that any to treat your best customers? Do I want to risk that on a transcon?? Hell no.
So the solution is no Premium seats? Or the airline stops operating for a few months until all of the planes are converted?
