I always sit in an ailse seat, but I seem to recall the best views coming from the left side of the plane. Maybe it depends on the particular approach in place when you arrive.

Don't forget you'll also want to be in position for the best views of the Grand Canyon.

I suggest doing what many people on my flights have done, which is to crawl all over other passengers like me to get a view from both sides of the plane like we're not even there.
