Tried to use my Turkish PNR to select/reserve a seat on a flight out of Istanbul, purchased on an United itinerary (united.com) several weeks ago.
I get this message when I try to "manage my booking:"
Because your reservation which is still awaiting payment was not created through our online services, you cannot sign in using a reservation code (PNR). Please contact one of our sales offices or call center.
I am currently traveling and in another country (outside the US) and would rather not wait on hold trying to sort out this mess. Has anyone ever seen this message before? United ticketed my ticket, so I am assuming this is just some technical issue? I assume my ticket is actually valid, right? ... right?
(Why is it that United has so many technical issues with their codeshare partners?! Don't encounter this with codeshares for other carriers!)
