FTers aren’t any more of a strange bunch than the world at large.

The perceived worsening of comfort levels in the main on planes are due to real declines in seat and cabin comfort levels, a product of intentional airline designs to maximize revenue at the expense of ever more customers per volume in the main cabin.

Just because things are as bad as they are in the main cabin on these planes doesn’t mean the bad won’t last as long as it has lasted and will last.

Passengers and others are making claims against the airlines for the pain and suffering caused by the worsened seat/cabin comfort levels. But it’s not been doing a whole lot to change airline behavior for the better in terms of seat/cabin comfort levels in the main — and that’s not unusual or even unexpected.
