I beleive starting Juy 23 2018 India is exempted from ATV. But yeah this is just a Airside transfer cannot be used for landside like you said.
If I apply for Schgnen Visa will I get a double entry Visa for the 1st time itself, considering on my return trip also I may be need to recheck my bags and, check in.
