It’s a slimy business tactic, especially for a mainstream company like Hilton.
You let it happen by agreeing, following the conclusion of your actual business, to be transferred for 500 points that may never be credited to your account. Personal responsibility goes a long way. IMO this is on you, not them. Now really, was that miniscule number of points really worth all the angst this issue has caused you?
