Hey friends - Long time no post.
Quick question for this collection of experts... we're taking a family trip and I booked (ironically on Gogo mid-flight) with the hope of meeting up with others flying out of JFK. What I didn't realize is that I booked us on an 11pm out of SFO (vs 11a) an d the net result is that I get into CDG a day later than everyone else. ugh! What a rookie error!
The outbound is I and the return is A (on BA).
I've called the AA desk and they only checked one routing - it came out to $2000 more per tix + $500 per tix to make the change. That's out of my range.
Ideally, we'd just move our outbound up a day, join my family on their transatlantic from JFK and bob's your uncle...sounded like inventory was low on that flight though and it'd still have a hefty price difference.
It's my error....and stuff happens. It won't be the end of the world if I can't fix it... but if anyone has any creative ideas, I'd be grateful to hear them
Thanks everyone!
