I was then proceeded to be given a sales pitch about vacation destinations. I had a choice between New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii. The gentleman “selling me” then went on to explain that this was some special package, and for only $499 I could get a “suite” at an exclusive Hilton resort and a free cruise. Then he asked me to pay the $499 and asked what credit card I wanted to use. I said no I didn’t want to pay for anything. He then started using high pressure sales tactics on me. He continued to keep me on the phone going on diatribes, and doing whatever it took to keep me on the phone asking me questions about anything, even though I continued to say no I’m not buying anything. He kept asking me questions and it felt like I was being sold by Stratton Oakmont for some penny stocks. He refused to just drop it and let me go, until finally I just hung up.
I could not believe a simple call to the diamond Desk to help with my profile turned into some high pressure sales tactic effort to get me to buy something from Hilton. Outrageous.
This stuff has been posted numerous times on this site, and you took the bait again. Next time just say no. Simple.
