An NZ serves decent New Zealand wines because such a thing exists at prices that make sense to the operation. I wish AC would also serve decent New Zealand wines.
LH and AC use the same seat. Not sure how AC>LH, given that LH bulkhead seats also have a proper leg/calf rest. IIRC AC bulkhead rows do not. And then there's general cabin cleanliness.
A lot of comments about LH catering being Y catering, therefore inferior to AC. It's based on the flawed premise that AC Y catering is on par with LH Y catering. It's not. AC Y catering today is like UA catering 10 years ago (even UA has managed to improve since then). LH PY catering is a little smaller than AC PY, but as quality goes, it is as good, if not better (India routes), than AC. And the second LH PY meal is better than both the AC PY and LH Y second meal.
LH is just generally a more premium airline.
