it's already been determined on the forum that Zone Certificates (the kind you are accustomed to receiving in ValPak mailings) haven't been released for the peak summer travel season. I think they'll be back for the beginning of September. Is that after when you'll need to be travelling?

If you've extremely price sensitive, you should consider alternate but nearby destinations (e.g. San Jose or Oakland via codeshare partners, if you are trying to get to San Francisco)... or, unfortunately for NWA, other carriers. This summer the fares seem to be more expensive than previous summers, but NWA keeps losing money.
