That is exactly what I am saying. Picture yourself boarding through door L2, make a right, walk past two rows of J, then 4 rows of Y and then you find the PY cabin. Seat map is here:


I am guessing this is because there wasn't enough space for 4 rows of PY between the mini J cabin and the lavs/exit rows. Still, the mini Y cabin located between J and the lavs felt more exclusive than the PY block of seats, especially since there is no bulkhead ahead of 21AC and 21HK due to the exit rows.

On my last flight on this bird (BLR-FRA), I ended up seated in 27A with no neighbor in 27B and I remember being very glad not to have paid extra to upgrade to PY at the gate given the very generous legroom in this row. I think they were offering upgrades to PY for 300 USD. Since that flight takes off at something like 3am, I just blacked out in my Y seat for most of the flight anyway.
