As posted earlier, immigrationis run by the government. You can see the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection's (BCBP) priorities in the way they sort the inbound passengers. They have the following lines:

1. Aircrews and Diplomatic Passport holders
2. U.S. Citizens and Permanent Resident Aliens (Green Card Holders)
3. All others (Smile for the Camera please!)

BCBP does not care one whit what class of ticket you bought. They care only about the color of your passport.
