Just got my new US Passport. When I put it down on a table, the front cover sticks up at about a 90 degree angle, and the photo page is curled and not flat.
Given what they charge for the thing, one would think it could stay closed.
Is this the new normal for passports, or did I get one that is off. Is there any way of getting it replaced/should I bother/who cares?
IIRC, the current US passport costs something like $20 and the rest is just other fees on top of that, even as the government often doesn't break down the fees as much as could be done.
