The Twitter team helped me out (see post 10). As I can't call, let alone call again, I am the extreme case of the need for IT to work. However, I will always be the first to give credit to AC social media team.
The post above touches on the original reason for the thread: I was wondering if the segment runners alluded to above had caused AC to intentionally stop offering connecting itineraries for FP.
As my situation was solved (i.e., it is not UNpossible), we do not know if the absence of connections for self-booking is intentional or an IT fluke.
