It is not. No totality in the City. Furthermore, the odds of a clear sky nearby aren't particularly lovely. I wouldn't put a bet on the coast of Chile either, although winter is probably a better bet than summer, because either there's a storm or there is not (as opposed to the summer coastal fog that drifts in/out @ LSC and surrounds).

The purpose of my post is that those considering an eclipse trip that might include Buenos Aires should consider lodging sooner rather than later.
