Have MR, UR points, have enough AA miles for a one way trip in biz, and have around 15k united miles. As always very interested in biz travel Any ideas?
At 1.87% (federal income taxes) some miles top-up and other opportunities make sense. At 3%, it's unlikely you'll come out ahead with the fees unless you need to meet a minimum spend for a new card bonus. If you find business class award availability that is a good value for mileage redemption, you can buy points from many programs for less than 3cpm.
