What did they say when you told them the website said this? There is no mention it doesn't apply to BE fares.
All 3 agents held their ground and wouldn't offer it when I mentioned this. I even told them that barring reference to BE exceptions on the advisory it was disingenuous to offer this option in the advisory then not provide it. If it matters at this point, the VPS-DCA flight I was scheduled for today went off on-time without a hitch.
