I’m sitting in 1A on a 747 right now. AUPd myself having checked it was free, will probably be my first and last opportunity.
Anyone who thinks the seat is cramped has serious space issues, and the closeness of 1K is pretty subjective too - I wouldn’t call 3 feet on a plane too shabby. It feels a lot more ‘special’ than F in a 777 / 789 which are my only point of reference.
i haven’t felt excited to get on a plane for a long time and we haven’t even taken off yet 😀
