I wish I could agree with you on North American routes. But I would stand by my statement that DL wins every time. My LAX-MTY flights recently swapped from DL operated to AM operated. I so wish they would flip back.
Is that an E190 regional flight? If so, I agree with you there - the AM regional experience is pretty basic. My assessment is based on their 737-800 product, which has pretty nice recliner seats with flip up footrests and lights that I find slightly nicer than the average DL domestic F seat. But if you're mostly on Embraers, I could easily see where AM would be a distant second to DL.
