Family of three traveling on SQ flight 622 in March from SIN to KIX. I have no status on SQ. The flight is on a 787 and currently I have the two center bulkhead seats (11D and 11F) in business class held. From reviews its looks like 11A and 11K are the best seats in the cabin but I would like one of these for the 3rd person in our group. Currently they are "blocked" for passengers that might have baby/bassinets.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on when those might open up to snag. I have read 48 hours out and I have read wait until you get to the lounge day of to try a move.

Any other strategies from you SQ veterans.
