OP has not provided information as to the value of the ticket. But, if it is small-ish, it is highly unlikely that Expedia will pursue OP. It may well no longer do business with him, but this is not a bad thing.
It goes without saying that this is all premised on OP's assertion that he correctly entered the relevant data. If he erred, then there is no chargeback to be had and nothing to be done.
