Yes, as I noted previously, the Platinum Welcome Gift options at the Marriott Hotels brand (and four other brands) are 1000 points or USD $10 F&B credit.

At the Marriott Hotels brand and four other brands (resorts excluded), the lounge/breakfast benefit is a separate benefit in addition to the Platinum Welcome Gift.
