I used to travel with a spanish national on Iberia quite a lot. You'd be VERY surprised at how often she found her lifejacket wasn't there (and mine). The laissez-faire/maņana attitude at the crew was alarming.

Nowadays, I just ignore the issue on a risk-acceptance criteria.
