New fare was something like $4200 plus $300 carrier surcharge ($4500 total). I would have expected that BA would have collected an additional $500 from me, in addition to the change fee. Instead, they collected $700 fare difference, so no portion of the carrier/fuel surcharge was folded into the new ticket, but simply forfeited.
I am surprised - I thought that BA would reprice and charge fare differemce plus change fee ( if aplicable )
Was there a $200 change fee ?
