But yeah, it looks like in other parts of FT there have been general points transfer issues with Marriott since August when the programs merged. And that's just one of countless issues that people are reporting daily since August 18, 2018.

But because of the 35% promo, more people have been doing the transfer thing to Aeroplan and running into the same issue of purgatory status.
