I paid to reserve upper deck seats on an Accra to LHR flight next month (the return leg a 241 redemption), then had to change the flight to the one leaving two days earlier. I was told that I’d lose my seat reservation money and that they could not offer seats on the new flight (something about it being an at risk flight - something peculiar, anyway). However, this post has prompted me to look at the terms and conditions and they say : ‘If you choose to change your flight, you will be entitled to choose an equivalent seat on your new flight. Should I pursue this with BA?
