Just a quick update. At the hotel now for the first time in almost exactly a year. No noticeable changes. Still overrun with kids even during the week. (Don't these kids have to go to school?)
As a Diamond, I again got two drink coupons which were good for both pints of beer in the Woodshed Pub and and large glasses of wine in the restaurant; I didn't push it and try for single malt, but these some of the best drink coupons I have ever gotten at a Hilton.
when i was there in July, I did use my drink coupons for single malt. The bartender told me that they were good for up to 14gpb each, which covered a seam of everything in the bar except two fairly old single malts. I agree that they were much better value than the drink coupons I’ve gotten at any other Hilton...
