No apology needed. We are talking about benefits that in some ways run contrary to those of the paying public and we are talking about a public company here. Flyertalk is a Forum where we peel back the layers of the onion to learn about and intelligently discuss the inner workings of a public company.

Non-rev benefits are being eroded as fast as paying customers with the removal of International F so my sympathies for my friends who work for United are strong. As a matter of fact the main reason I’m loyal to UA is for the welfare of close friends who work there.

All that said, this subject matter is NOT off limits and should be freely and openly “peeled back” to expose the reality of this “contra-benefit” to United loyal frequent fliers.
