DId your 16-digit card account number change between the Forward card and the TYP Preferred card?

If so, it did start a 24-month clock from everything we know, because Citi views that as one card account closed and another opened.

Only conversions where the card account number is totally unchanged (only expiration date and/or security code changes) don't seem to start a new 24-month clock, because Citi doesn't see it as an open/close if the account number never changed.
