I am glad I am not the only one frustrated by the star systems! I agree that for the most part AAA four diamond or Mobil 4's are usually very nice hotels. I also agree that three diamonds could be anything from a nice hotel to a rather dumpy motel. I spend time reading trip advisor, here, and also fodors travel talk.
I will email AAA with my hotel experience in Harrisburg. The hotel, just needs better housekeeping (my opinion) otherwise, the staff were very nice and the main areas of the hotel were attractive.
