Agree. It is not a refund from CX but a charge back
approved by AMEX, so CX has to cough up nonetheless. Same outcome, the difference is voluntary refund versus involuntarily eating the charge back, IF AMEX passed it to CX. Though for 2x $100 AMEX probably would just absorb it, like it often do with small amount of claims - because it is generally more cost effective to AMEX.
