There was no view - there was a fence blocking a view to a graveyard (!)

I did ask for an upgrade, and that's when they mentioned they were completely sold out. I did check online, and they weren't selling rooms for that night so I believe them
Where did you have the free breakfast? Is there a choice of western of Japaneses breakfast? Or it was buffet?
We need two beds because we have 2 kids so I emailed Ritz Kyoto about the view of our basic room with 2 beds. She said there is only ONE basic room with two beds per floor and the view is just a view of a building so not anybetter than yours.
