Bali will never become a Bali fortunately!

But Nihi(Nihiwatu as it was then) is special, I had to go for work. I had literally 24 hours there! And I will go back. On my transfer from the airport we stopped as Tambolaka was opening it's first traffic lights!

No-one paid attention of course, and most people were on horseback anyway!

Question for you when I do go back - as a non-surfer, is it a good place to learn, or should I learn elsewhere before hitting Nihi?
