I will try my best to be the forum golf expert.
If you are in it for the golf and not the luxury hotel experience Streamsong has become a great golf getaway destination. Three world class courses there now with a great caddie program and fits your winter schedule unlike a place like Bandon. Definitely a luxury golf experience even if the accommodations aren't.
If you are more interested in the luxury hotel experience and are OK with average golf there are going to be a lot more options. Arizona and Vegas (as already mentioned), Naples, Cabo, Riviera Maya come to mind with multiple luxury properties and some decent golf. Shadow Creek is probably one of the top 5 "resort" courses in the country but there isn't much else that is great in Vegas that is public or resort.
I cannot imagine any hotel would be able to get you onto a place like Cypress or Seminole. Two of the harder clubs to get on in the world, really need to know a member that is willing to host you. It took me years of trying to finally get on Seminole. Never tried Cypress but I would expect the same there.
Lots of even elite private clubs will take unaccompanied guests, albeit at an unaccompanied rate. As example The Olympic Club in SF wanted like $400 (with caddie) to play there without a member. Just need to know someone who knows someone basically to make a call. Or ask your pro to call.
