MEL-CNS is a Zone 4 flight (< 11,000km), and a return upgrade for such a flight is 16,000pts (discount economy, full Y is only 8000pts). (usually halve for oneway). Each certificate is for a oneway upgrade (so I presume you would get two certificates)

This upgrade is for the full MEL-SYD-CNS-SYD-MEL, subject to availability (in the specific Global Rewards business booking class).

Flight Upgrade Reward Certificates are also non-transferable and for the person named as the recipient (ID may be required!). Will also be void if sold/exchanged.

These conditions are as from 17 April 2000 (relaunch of Global Rewards as a free frequent flyer program - now give out cheap floppy cards to base and sapphire (Star Silver!!) members.

Cheers,

Justin
