Hi Glen.
I can see what you want to do but the point levels for discount travel u/g are rediculous.If you buy a full fare as you know its really expensive.Anyway the old levels are-
single journey
up to 620kms 2500 pts.
up to 850kms 3500pts.free b/c ret up to 1700kms is 21250pts
up to 1450kms 5000pts.
up to 5500kms 8000pts.free b/c ret at 37500pts
halve these for full economy to b/c.
i have done the sums and unless someone else is paying or you are very rich it is more economical to get the freebees.
I am not aware of new levels.
