If you do go to Bangkok, at least don't stay at the Millennium Hilton. Was there last summer on a short stop in BKK, and it was a really disappointing experience. Very busy everywhere, from lobby to the club lounge, which seemed to be full of backpackers. There are much nicer properties in Bangkok!
