those here who deal with management level do so for a reason

that does not mean there are never issues with management level

not sure how some here are lucky (or use agent) as i have never had a situation where i was impressed when doing lower level communicating with luxury properties/chains. for sanctuary scottsdale at one point, i was 'impressed' that the person who answered main phone knew about inventory/renovation status of multiple residences and other high levels of detail.

with OP's case, surprise is that OP wanted to give more money, and hotel hasnt taken it!
