On our honeymoon last year, we mentioned the fact to both airlines (EK & SQ). Now we were booked in Club throughout, but EK didn't even mention it. SQ however went completely over the top, presenting us with a card made by one of the crew, a cake that had been specially loaded and they did some fancy thing with a brandy glass, some coloured spirit and a block of dry ice!!!

Your TA may have passed the info onto EK, but I wouldn't bank on them doing anything. Have you looked at upgrading just the first sector or something?
