well if you have to go thru an interview they will most likely take a new foto. or maybe they won't, but they will have the facilities to do so and i'd imagine they'd be happy to do that.

my card was reissued a month ago (no interview) with my photo from 2009. i look way sharper and in better shape than i did then. i kinda take the oldness of this photo as a badge of pride, not that anyone even bothers looking at it lol. i mean, our identity is verified biometrically, not based on this backwards 19th century model of a visual check between a passport photo and what's standing in front of you. but hey we each do our own thing. good luck with your process.
