For the first time ever in 40 years someone's tried to buy something on my credit card without it being me (I know, I finally feel like I belong!). $1,100 of iTunes gift cards - which I am reliably informed can be turned into anonymous cash via the bitcoin route. It was the card I used on the BA website two days before the breach was discovered. Card company stopped it straight away, called me to tell me and new cards are on the way. I've already switched some regular payments from the old card to another (equally good for earning Asia Miles) credit card and signed up for the class action. I don't need the money but I think BA need to be taught a financial lesson for letting it happen and letting it go undetected for such a long time.
