PLease understand that not all elites WANT the exit row. Like, I'd rather be flying on the wing than in an oin the exit row on the 762 or row 20 on the 763.....

On the MD80 i'll take the exit row, but since there is no window on the 777 exit rowm, I wont take it.

With ERJs I'd rather be up front because its usually a short flight and I want to be out of the plane quickly. A moot point in this discussion because you can't upgrade on Eagle.

Some elites would rather a non exit isle with than a window exit... so you never now.

In fact, I'm now debating switching from the exit row on my upcoming ZRH flight to be in a seat with nobody next to me....
