It's been a long time since I was on a flight that wasn't fairly full.

All my WN flights have been relatively short 1-2 hr hops, but I have never had a problem getting a pair of decent seats for me and my wife. Way too much unjustified angst about their boarding process, IMO. And since they still have free bags, I think the overhead space isn't as tight as on the other airlines.

Back to Alaska, maybe it's only on Horizon flights, but I often seem to hear MVP and MVPG lumped in together. Or maybe that was only under the old system; I don't think I have had an AS flight since the change-over (July 18). I'll try to pay attention tomorrow.
