At NAP they have the prices posted in a few places, including little signs with common destinations in the rafters outside towards the cab stand. Those little signs have almost all been covered with stickers etc.

Amazingly, a few taxis now take credit cards, including contactless/Apple Pay!

But yeah don’t get in without an agreed fare that’s the best advice.
