Mine laptop bag (sans laptop) gets rerun through the x-ray about 15% of the time and pulled for a hand search about 5%.

Had one joker in BWI swab check every single electronic item and cable in my bag once. Complete search took just over 20 minutes, but I got to keep my pants on....
